Sewer Line Repair in Long Beach, CA

Chapter 15.20 of the Long Beach Municipal Code draws its line at the property line, and it draws it in both directions. Section 15.20.060 makes the owner responsible for maintaining the building sewer on the private side. The same section then states that the Water Department shall maintain the house connection extending from the property line to the main sewer line within the public right-of-way.
