Here is our estimate policy stated the way we wish every company stated theirs. Replacement and installation projects, water heaters, repipes, softeners, sewer replacements, new fixtures and the like, get free estimates: we look, we measure, you get a written number, and you owe nothing for the visit.

Troubleshooting is different, and we say so upfront: finding out why something is failing takes licensed diagnostic work, so repair visits carry the $89 residential service call, and instrument-level diagnostics, leak detection, and error-code work start at $125, credited toward the repair when you approve it. Free estimates on the buying decisions, fair fees on the detective work, and never a surprise about which one your visit is.

Can you quote from photos alone?

Sometimes, and water heaters are the star case: a data-plate photo and a shot of the setup often yields a same-day replacement number. Projects with real variables still deserve eyes; we will tell you which kind yours is on the first call.

Does the estimate obligate me to anything?

Nothing. The number is yours to keep, compare, and sleep on. The follow-up you will get is availability if you want it, not pressure because we showed up.

What if another company's quote is lower?

Then let's read both together, line by line: scope, materials, permits, and what happens when walls surprise everyone. Sometimes the other number is genuinely better, and we say so; often it is a different, smaller job wearing the same name. Either way you decide, informed, without a counter-pitch.
